Guide to Defeating Every Enemy Type in ARC Raiders

Nov 25, 2025, 11:16:42 PST | Categories : ARC Raiders |

ARC Raiders throws you into a harsh, uncertain world where danger can come from any direction-especially when other Raiders are nearby. But no matter who you trust or avoid, one threat unites every player: the ARC. These mechanical enemies roam the landscape, guarding valuable resources, powering high-risk encounters, and holding the keys to upgrading your gear. Whether you're chasing drivers, farming experience, stacking materials, or simply trying to make the ruins of Italy a little safer, knowing how to dismantle each ARC type is essential.

This guide breaks down the most efficient strategies, tools, and tactics for destroying every ARC variant. You'll learn which explosives offer the best value, when to rely on heavy ARC Raiders Items weapons, and how to position yourself for maximum safety and damage. Consider this your all-purpose field manual for ARC hunting.

Core Equipment for ARC Hunting

Before diving into enemy-specific tactics, you need to understand the tools that consistently deliver results.

Top-Tier Explosives

Grenades and mines are the backbone of any ARC-killing loadout. Among them, several stand above the rest:

· Deadline Mine: The strongest option overall. One well-placed charge can delete most large ARC units instantly. You'll only be able to purchase one per day from the grenade trader, but its raw stopping power makes it worth safeguarding.

· Wolfpack Grenade: Excellent on paper and in practice, this explosive splits into multiple tracking projectiles. While it won't one-shot the largest ARC targets, it melts mid-tier ones and is the definitive best answer to Rocketeers.

· Trigger Grenade: Cheap, craftable, sticky, and detonated on command. These are some of the most reliable explosives for general ARC encounters.

· Snap Blast & Heavy Fuse Grenades: Respectable backup options. Snap Blasts stick to surfaces and detonate on a timer, while Heavy Fuses hit hard but require precise throws since they don't stick.

Some explosives-like seeker grenades or light impact grenades-are convenient for small flyers but shouldn't be wasted on bigger threats.

Weapons and Utilities

Heavy Ammo Weapons: Penetration makes heavy rounds ideal for breaking armor and reaching cores without perfect aim.

· Hullcracker Launcher: Still functional, but no longer the top-dog it once was. Best reserved for large ARC units when grenades aren't available.

· Photoelectric Cloak: Enables stealth approaches, letting you plant mines or grenades at point-blank range without drawing aggro.

· Showstopper Grenade: A powerful stun tool that neutralizes dangerous ARC for long windows of free damage.

How to Defeat Every ARC Type

Small Flyers: Wasps & Hornets

These light units fall quickly once you target their thruster turbines. Break two thrusters to force them down; they'll either explode on impact or be helpless for a quick melee finisher.

Ground Trash: Pops, Ticks & Fireballs

· Pops: Shoot or melee-simple.

· Ticks: Fragile but annoying. Back up or swat them.

· Fireballs: Either hit them with heavy ammo or let them roll close until they expose their core.

Turrets & Sentinel Turrets

Shoot from cover using heavy ammo. Standard turrets fall in a couple of hits; the sniper-type Sentinel Turrets require more, but the strategy is the same.

Snitches

Shoot the glowing underside panels at range. Heavy ammo works well but isn't required.

Surveyors

These armored spheres run more than they fight. Stun them with Showstoppers or hornet drivers, then unload grenades or heavy shots into their core. Two to three trigger grenades typically finish the job.

Mid-Tier Threats: Leapers & Shredders

· Shredders: Hit their bottom thruster with heavy ammo or stick grenades to their body. Two to three explosives disable them quickly.

· Leapers: Always aim for the central core. Grenades destroy them faster than pure gunplay.

Heavy Walkers: Bastions & Bombaders

These are tough solo fights. You can:

1. Break the knee joints to expose the battery on their back,

2. Use a cloak to approach safely,

3. Plant grenades or a Deadline Mine,

4. Retreat and repeat.

Eight to twelve well-placed grenades are usually enough, depending on type.

Rocketeers

The absolute best answer is a Wolfpack Grenade thrown so it bursts directly above them-this instantly deletes the unit. Without explosives, breaking two thrusters with heavy ammo or Hullcracker shots will also bring them down.

Boss-Level ARC: Queen & Matriarch

Stealth, patience, and Deadline Mines are the reliable method. Cloak, approach, attach a mine underneath, retreat, and repeat until they fall.

ARC Raiders becomes significantly easier once you recognize patterns, weak points, and which tools offer the best efficiency. With proper loadouts and smart positioning, every ARC becomes predictable-and profitable. Happy hunting, Raider.
