ARC Raiders Limited-Time Project Guide
ARC Raiders' limited-time holiday project offers a streamlined path to exclusive cosmetics, Raider Tokens, and valuable progression rewards-but only if you know exactly where to go and what to loot. This guide breaks down the most efficient routes and strategies so you can complete nearly every stage in just a few runs, minimizing grind and maximizing rewards. With smart routing, most players can finish everything except candleberries in under an hour.
Run One: Power Generation to Primary Facility
Your first run should begin at the Power Generation Elevator. Immediately check the nearby white car, which has a very high chance to spawn light bulbs-often two at once, which is enough to complete that requirement immediately.
From there, move toward the apartment buildings along the edge of the map. Residential loot is extremely dense here, especially on the ground floors. Pay close attention to green kitchen drawers, which have the best chance to drop coffee pots, frying pans, and candle holders. While looting, breach every rusty container you find, as these frequently contain water filters, which are required later.
Along this same route, make sure to loot the nearby raider camp. While it is not technically a depot, it contains multiple breachable boxes that can drop additional water filters. If you are playing the snow variant, check carefully for raider baskets, which can contain candleberries. Beds in this area can also spawn durable cloth, saving you crafting time.
Continue looting all three apartment complexes on this side of the map. One full sweep is usually enough to cover all residential item requirements, but even if you are missing a few pieces, the second run will fill the gaps.
Next, head toward Hydroponics. Loot all hydroponic buildings, shelves, and breachable containers. Industrial batteries spawn here fairly often, along with more water filters. Be sure to check water pools in larger rooms, as they can spawn mushrooms-you need seven total.
After Hydroponics, exit toward the pipeline tower, move underneath toward the control tower, and drop into the Primary Facility. This area offers yet another chance for industrial batteries and water filters through its high density of breachable boxes.
Before extracting at the water treatment elevator, check the second white car nearby if you still need light bulbs. This completes the first run, which should net you light bulbs, water filters, industrial batteries, residential ARC Raiders items, mushrooms, durable cloth, and even wine bottles.
Run Two: Bluegate Cleanup
The second run is straightforward. Go to Bluegate and loot all containers to fill in any remaining residential items such as music albums, film reels, or duplicate cookware. Trash cans here have an unusually high drop rate for film reels, making this one of the fastest places to complete that requirement.
Bluegate is also excellent for duct tape. You need ten total, and the dense container layout makes this requirement trivial to complete in a single run.
At this point, nearly the entire project should be finished.
Fireball Banners: Fast and Risk-Free
For Fireball Banners, head to Stella Montis and patrol the business center. Fireball bodies spawn frequently and can often be looted without combat. Alternatively, Sandbox also works well. Bring a cheap loadout and store three banners in your safe pocket-this guarantees progress even if you die.
Candleberries and Mushrooms: Final Grind
Candleberries take the longest, but there are efficient methods. The best option is Spaceport during the Cold Snap event. Run the outer edges of the map and loot raider baskets, which frequently contain candleberries. A specific tree in the Spaceport trench always spawns mushrooms, allowing you to finish that requirement in just a few runs.
If Spaceport Cold Snap is unavailable, Bluegate's olive grove area is a strong alternative. Buildings here can spawn fruit baskets and raider caches, identifiable by a ticking sound. These are breachable during Cold Snap and often contain candleberries.
Rewards and Final Notes
Completing the project grants 250 Raider Tokens, progress toward the Candleberries live event, and the High-Tech Hiker skin with multiple colorways. Check your mailbox as well-developers have distributed 1,000 free Raider Tokens to all players, allowing you to purchase premium cosmetic sets from the store.
One notable reward is the game's first Raider Tool cosmetic, replacing the standard pickaxe with a high-visibility orange wrench-an encouraging sign of future grounded cosmetic designs.
Follow these routes, keep your loadouts light, and you will complete the event efficiently with minimal stress-leaving more time to enjoy the holidays.
