Farm Legendary Loot Solo at the Launch Tower in ARC Raiders
If you are hunting legendary weapons, oversized cases, and high-end blueprints in ARC Raiders, the Launch Tower loot event on Spaceport is one of the most efficient solo activities in the game. When executed correctly, this event can yield three to four massive weapon cases in a single raid with minimal player interaction. This guide covers optimal loadout choices, how to solve the Launch Tower fuel cell puzzle, all 14 fuel cell spawn locations, and how to safely loot the tower before extracting.
Recommended Solo Loadout
Before deploying, your loadout needs to balance survivability, ARC-clearing power, and inventory space. A strong solo setup is a Level 3 Anvil paired with a Level 2 Renegade. If you are on a budget, an Anvil plus a Kettle still works, but higher tiers make clearing faster and safer.
Bring a medium shield to mitigate ARC damage, a modest amount of ammo, and extra grenades. Wolf Packs are highly recommended, especially if a Rocketeer spawns, as they can quickly overwhelm you otherwise. Trailblazers are useful for larger enemies, while Seeker Grenades are extremely underrated. These grenades melt small and medium ARCs and can save your run in tight situations. Finish your kit with heals and adrenaline shots to maintain momentum.
Getting to the Launch Tower
Once the raid begins, immediately head to Spaceport and move toward the Launch Towers. The fastest and safest approach is entering from the eastern side. The Launch Tower remains fully locked until a fuel cell is located and inserted into a generator, so your priority is finding one as efficiently as possible.
Fuel Cell Puzzle Overview
There are 14 possible fuel cell spawn locations around the Launch Tower. Each raid randomly selects from these locations, but you only need one fuel cell to activate the generator. However, knowing all spawn points allows you to quickly pivot if your first few checks come up empty.
Eastern Side Locations
· Inside the large rocket structure on the east side
· On the nearby launch pad platform
· Around the large dome structure (“the ball”)
· On several small elevated platforms nearby
· In underground tunnels beneath the eastern tower area
These eastern locations alone often yield multiple fuel cells in a single run.
Central and Western Locations
· On elevated platforms connected by tunnels
· At tunnel entrances (nearly every tunnel has a possible spawn)
· Near the western dome structure
· On exposed platforms overlooking the launch pad
· Deep underground spawn points reported by other players
· A known spawn near the far western edge
· A final spawn near the northern edge of the map
All 14 locations surround the Launch Tower in a loose ring. If you miss one area, rotate clockwise and keep moving.
Activating the Generator
Once you find a fuel cell, head beneath the central launch pad. You can use zip lines while carrying the fuel cell, which significantly speeds up traversal. Ride the zip line up toward the generator platform.
To activate the generator:
1.Set the fuel cell down briefly to open the access gate.
2.Pick it back up and place it into the generator slot.
3.Press the activation button to unlock the Launch Tower gates.
This opens one side of the tower and gives access across the top to other sections.
Looting the Launch Tower Safely
If you reach the tower early (around 25–30 minutes remaining), you are in an ideal position. Start by clearing exploders, ticks, and nearby ARCs. Loot all easily accessible drawers first before breaching containers. This minimizes risk while securing valuable items early.
Expect blueprints, epic gear, Wolf Packs, Trigger Grenades, and occasional legendary ARC Raiders Items drops. Weapon cases on lower levels can contain anything from solid epics to top-tier weapons, though drops remain RNG-based.
After clearing the lower levels, head to the top. There is usually one open weapon case and a set of activation buttons. Pressing these buttons triggers heavy ARC spawns for roughly 30–60 seconds. Do not stay exposed—kite enemies and use Wolf Packs if a Rocketeer engages.
Once unlocked, an oversized weapon case becomes available. While loot varies, this is one of the best chances in the game to pull Tempests, Bobcats, or other premium weapons.
If the area is uncontested, you can cross the tower tops to access additional weapon cases on the opposite side.
Extract and Profit
After looting, extract immediately. The Launch Tower event consistently delivers high-value returns when done cleanly, especially for solo players who prioritize speed and positioning.
Master this route, and the Launch Tower becomes one of the most reliable legendary loot farms in ARC Raiders.
