Legend of YMIR Level 50 Progression Guide
Reaching level 50 in Legend of YMIR is a major milestone, but the real challenge begins after you hit it. At this stage, your goal should be to push your GP (Gear Power) to at least 100,000 as quickly and efficiently as possible. In this guide, we will break down the exact steps, systems, and decisions that allowed us to reach 107K GP shortly after hitting level 50-and how you can replicate or improve on that result.
Step 1: Valkyrie Selection and Promotion Strategy
One of the most important contributors to GP at level 50 is your Valkyrie. We used the free Valkyrie summon and selected Warlord Freyr, which is an excellent choice due to his strong stat scaling. Instead of spreading resources thin, we made a deliberate decision to promote previously rare Valkyries to Epic rather than immediately chasing new ones. This approach is more resource-efficient and gives substantial GP gains early on.
Avoid impulsively upgrading every Valkyrie you acquire. Focus only on those that offer meaningful stat increases and synergy with your build. Smart promotion decisions alone can add tens of thousands of GP.
Step 2: Crafting Event Items and Companions
At level 50, crafting becomes a core GP driver. During events, you should prioritize crafting Antique-tier items, which provide significant stat boosts. These items are essential and should not be skipped.
Companions are another major GP source. We crafted Vincarp, a deer-type companion that provides bonus PS (Power Score). Additionally, upon reaching level 50, we were able to craft Rim Foxy, which pushed us close to the 100K GP threshold. Companions offer some of the highest stat-to-cost value in the game, so investing in them early is highly recommended.
Step 3: Artifact Upgrades (Amber Investment)
Once you reach level 50, all artifacts become upgradeable. To fully upgrade them immediately, expect to spend approximately 50,000–60,000 Amber. While this may seem expensive, artifact upgrades provide permanent stat increases and are absolutely worth the cost.
Do not delay these upgrades. Artifacts are foundational to your GP growth and will benefit every activity, including PvE, PvP, and expeditions.
Step 4: Black Valkyrie and Saga Completion
Completing Saga content is another essential step. By finishing key sagas-specifically Acer Commander and Bronze Heart-you unlock the Black Valkyrie system. Each completed saga opens additional stat bonuses, and these bonuses stack quickly.
You only need to complete two specific sagas to unlock Black Valkyrie, but you should finish all available ones as soon as possible. The stat gains here are significant and often overlooked by newer players.
Step 5: Equipment, Accessories, and Skull Blazon
At level 50, gear optimization becomes critical. One standout upgrade is the +7 Skull Blazon, which we obtained through a bundle and additional Skullons. You can also acquire a +7 Skull Blazon from Threads of Fate, which is a daily activity.
The difference between +6 and +7 enhancements is massive, so always aim for +7 when possible. Threads of Fate should be completed daily to maximize your chances of acquiring these upgrades.
Step 6: Story Deck Optimization
The Story Deck system plays a major role in GP scaling. Instead of settling for basic completions, we waited and upgraded key cards to Epic and Legendary quality. Legendary cards, in particular, provide massive stat bonuses and hunting XP increases.
Click and rotate cards frequently to ensure you are activating optimal area buffs. These buffs stack and directly contribute to both GP and leveling efficiency.
Step 7: Partner Servers and XP Optimization
If you have access to a Partner Server, take advantage of it. Partner servers often provide Royal Orders that grant bonus Hunting XP to all players, as well as scheduled Hot Time events. These boosts significantly accelerate progression post-50.
At this stage, you should also invest in Adventure Supply (Intermediate) and Nobis Benefits, which provide offline and online XP bonuses of up to 20%. Faster leveling means faster access to additional systems and GP sources.
Final Results and Expectations
A "normal" level 50 character should sit at 100K GP minimum. With optimized Valkyries, companions, artifacts, story decks, and gear, reaching 107K–109K GP is entirely achievable. Keep in mind that level 50 progression requires a substantial Legend of YMIR diamonds investment-expect to spend 250K–300K diamonds overall-but this is a long-term investment that pays off across all content.
If you follow these steps carefully, level 50 will not feel like a wall, but rather a launch point for rapid growth in Legend of YMIR.
