ARC Raiders Trials Guide: How to Push Points, Promote Faster, and More

Dec 09, 2025, 11:20:02 PST | Categories : ARC Raiders |

Whether your goal is to climb into higher brackets, earn premium cosmetics, or simply secure your weekly Epic rewards-understanding how ARC Raiders trials actually work is the difference between barely promoting and breaking into the top 100.This guide lays out the core rules, map choices, spawn behaviors, and loadout strategies that top players use to consistently double-promote and dominate their brackets.

Rule #1: Prioritize 2x Map Modifiers Every Time

Nothing boosts trial scores more than 2x point multipliers. These include:

· Night Raids

· Electromagnetic Storm

· Hidden Bunker

If a trial can be run on any of these three, that's where you go. Daily rotating modifiers-like Prospecting Probes or Lush Blooms-sound tempting because they add more spawns, but they're simply not worth it. You would have to loot twice as many spawns just to match what you get with a 2x multiplier.

With doubled points, you gain far more leniency. You still need to aggressively push spawns and known hotspots, but the multiplier gives you the cushion necessary to achieve promotional and leaderboard-level scores.

Rule #2: Trial Running Is Expensive-Commit Fully

High-tier trials require high-tier loadouts. For enemies like Rocketeers, Bastions, Bombaders, or Leapers, you should expect to bring:

· Multiple Wolf Packs

· Deadline Mines

· Lure Grenades

· Blaze Grenades

· Stacks of Adrenaline/Stims

· A heavy weapon for air threats (Hornets, Wasps, etc.)

Every run carries real financial risk. That's why half-sending a trial is never worth it. If you're not properly loaded, you will lose far more in points and resources over time.

Rule #3: Enemy Spawns Are Predictable-Exploit the Spawn Timer

ARC Raiders' most important hidden mechanic is this: Killing a major enemy starts a fixed timer that triggers the next spawn of that same enemy. If you kill the first target early enough, you can spawn up to three of that enemy type in a single raid.

Example: Leapers on Damn Battlegrounds

There are four consistent Leaper spawn locations:

· Water Treatment

· Breach/Pipeline Tower

· Red Lake

· Testing Annex

The strategy:

· Spawn into Damn Battlegrounds.

· Rush to the closest Leaper spawn using adrenaline shots.

· Kill it instantly to start the respawn timer.

· Split your team across the remaining spawns.

· Camp the respawns and kill them on cooldown using Wolf Packs, Lures, and Blaze Nades.

This method is efficient, reliable, and repeatable for Rocketeers, Bastions, Bombaders, and similar trials. Most of the gameplay becomes waiting in shadows for respawns, but that's how top scores are achieved.

Hidden Bunker: How to Max the Trial

Hidden Bunker (Spaceport only) offers 2x multiplier but runs only one hour per day, currently at very inconvenient times.

To max the trial:

· Activate all four satellites on the map.

· Enter the bunker and locate the eight computer terminals.

· Start each download and stay next to it-moving cancels progress.

· Each computer gives 800 points, totaling 6,400.

Because of the limited availability, competition is high, so be prepared for player interference.

Searching Baron Husks, Probes, and Harvesting

For Baron Husks and Prospecting Probes, use community tools like Metaphorge to identify all spawn points.

· Spaceport provides the highest ceiling for first-place pushes.

· Damn Battlegrounds offers clustered spawns for safer, consistent scores.

For Harvesting, Damn Battlegrounds-especially Hydroponic-is unmatched. The density of Mullen, moss, and mushrooms lets teams hit 40k–47k+ with optimized routing.

Flying Enemies and Snitch Scanners

Flying trials are best done during Hidden Bunker from a defended high-ground position like North Trench Tower. Bring:

· A fast-firing weapon (Renegade recommended)

· A shield breaker (Hole Cracker)

· 20–30 Snitch Scanners

· Defensive tools (Wolf Packs, Mines, Barricades)

The goal is to create a safe perimeter where you can continuously tag and farm Wasps and Hornets with minimal downtime.

Final Thoughts

Mastering ARC Raiders trials comes down to three fundamentals:

· Always choose 2x multipliers.

· Commit fully with top-tier gear.

· Exploit predictable spawn timers by splitting efficiently.

Perfect these, and you'll promote faster, secure high-tier weekly rewards, and compete for leaderboard spots-no matter your starting bracket.
